Napa is absolutely beautiful. It’s crazy with how different Southern and Northern California are from one another. It felt like we stepped out of the California sunshine and into an incredible European dream.
Roman and I were thrilled to be in Napa. Our first stop after a 70 mile drive from San Francisco was wine tasting! But not just wine tasting at any ordinary winery.. we went to a castle!
Castello di Amorosa
Castle and a winery located near Calistoga, California
Once we arrived, we were truly mesmerized with the beauty of the place.
It was both of our first time to go wine tasting so it made the whole experience even more exciting.
We both had about 6 wines each to taste with unlimited bread sticks and I must say, we loved the whole experience!
After an hour and a half drive from SF, two hours of wine tasting and soaking up the beautiful scenery, we were ready to check in our hotel!Roman is the absolute sweetest for booking us one of the best rooms in Napa! I know he spent countless hours doing research on trying to pick the perfect place for us to stay at and I couldn’t be any more thankful.
We fell in love with our home for the night. It was cozy, secluded, and relaxing. None of it would have been possible if it wasn’t for my super sweet and romantic boyfriend for planning the whole thing!
After we settled in, we went out for dinner and knowing how much I love Italian food and Roman himself being Italian, we chose an Italian restaurant that was located 0.5 miles from our hotel. We were glad we chose Ristorante Allegria because the ambiance and food was amazing! It was the perfect place for a nice date night.
I had a lovely dinner with the best date ever.
Scratch that, I had the most amazing day with the love of my life.
Napa Valley, you are a beauty to behold.
Life is full and sweet and plain good. Thank you Jesus!
